Review of To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) by Kevin M. W — 21 Nov 2012
Altho Peck is perfect here as sort of a modern day Abe Lincoln defending a black man of raping a white woman in a pre-Civil Rights southern town, there is a whole 'nother film here about the wonder, mysticism and magic of childhood that is forgotten with all the fire and brimstone of important social issues and yet is equally as weighty.
Wonderful performances abound, by child actors, et al.
