Review of To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) by Joshua D — 19 May 2014
"It is a sin to kill a mockingbird.".
Harper Lee wrote an incredible novel long time ago. This book was then made into a classic film. This film grounded Gregory Peck as a monumental actor.
With all the news and story that surrounds this movie the one that can not be and should not be forgotten is the original tale of Scout and her brother Jem who broke his arm. Harper Lee's characters come to life on the screen and after reading the book it was an absolute joy. From the beginning title shot I already felt connected with the book and was excited for the rest of the movie. I was never disappointed in the adaptation.
