Review of To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) by Joshua "Lf" M — 09 Apr 2012
A nice movie but I liked the book more. The voice of the little girls I imagined while reading the book was a sweet one not a very high pitched annoying and an unintelligent one as in this one. There is only a fine line between acting and overacting.
You know when to hire child actors; when they do not cross that fine line. There is also a fine line between a cute voice of a child and an annoying squeal that runs throughout the movie and take you a while to get adjusted to.
The movie line and the acting that goes off with it have to be agreeable otherwise for Harper Lee made sure of it while writing this phenomenal story.
