Review of To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) by Viktor B — 20 Jul 2013
A movie I watched in school after reading the book. Heartfelt music by Elmer Bernstein accompanies the drama. Horton Foote translates Harper Lee's words to the screen. Atticus deserves the AFI #1 movie hero honor.
A calm, rational, loving father teaches his kids how to overcome the town's bigoted outraged passion. A great example of a classic book being translated well into a classic film.
