Review of To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) by Daniel S — 09 May 2011
There's a reason this is a classic. It's a very interesting, occasionally scary, and occasionally moving film. Atticus Finch is a bad mama jamma. Showing this world through the eyes of the children is very effective and took me back to a time of wonder in a way that few films accomplish.
Instead of yelling at the kids for being idiots I felt like I was one of them and could understand their motivations.
