Review of To Have and Have Not (1945) by David P — 08 Aug 2007
The introduction of the Bogart and Bacall love affair. You literally see it developing on screen. While many make comparisons to Casablanca, I still feel that this film stands on its own. If you don't like Hemmingway, don't worry, only part of the first portion of the film is even vaguely based on the book.
