The best thing about this film is without a doubt the chemistry between Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. The fact that they fell in love while shooting this movie is reason enough to see it. Other than that the story, which is similar to Casablanca, would likely fall flat, simply because it is not a very strong one.
