Review of To Have and Have Not (1945) by Sarfaraz A — 30 Oct 2012
To Have And Have Not directed by Howard Hawks. Starring Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall and many more.
This classic film, is sure an entertainment war-time film, with burning chemistry between Bogey and Lauren, a start of a romance between the two and which would turn into saga. Film provides greater persona of Bogey after his character of Rick Blaine in Casablanca; all characters in the film have carried out their performances marvelously; most of scenes are gripping and not behaving to let go your attention off them.
Walter Brennan's character Eddie is more intriguing and one of most-fascinated one out of To Have And Have Not. He has always been prime force as supporting actor, not to mention his great contribution in other films like Red River and Rio Bravo.
NOTE: Re-Watched 2nd Time.
