A solid 4 stars--Nicole Kidman gives a very enjoyable performance as the conniving and ambitious weather girl. Joaquin Phoenix is excellent as the smitten teenager. Matt Dillon does a good job with a rather thankless role--but it's rather more fun watching Ileana Douglas swearing and skating around.
