Review of To Die For (1995) by Erin P — 20 Feb 2009
This film is half black comedy half mockumentary. Kidman's portrayal is sublime and very disturbing. Your heart bleeds with sympathy for the poor children she manipulates and also her husband's family.
You can hear Danny Elfman's score oompah-oompahing from 1000 paces and is somewhat reminiscent of Beetlejuice. I only felt let down a bit by the ending, it seemed a bit cliche.
