Creating a "sexy-monster" movie, a "give em' someone they'll love to hate and then tease them with a prospect of revenge" movie - isn't exactly a job that I find to be particularly valuable.
But it is a job and it is done well here. Creating a thorough character study and/or a thoughtful satirical commentary - that I very much value. That aspect of this film however, could clearly use some more depth.
