Review of To Catch a Thief (1955) by Susan L — 26 Mar 2009
The softer side of Hitchcock is on display in "To Catch a Thief." If you enjoy brilliant cinematography, elegant clothes and the beauty of the French Riviera, this film is a "must see." Cary Grant and Grace Kelly have little acting to do; but he is as sophisticated as ever, and she provides a lovely picture.
Yes, the film has a bit of suspense, but only to provide the pace. It never interferes with the romance and the eye candy.
