Review of To Catch a Thief (1955) by Jake M — 09 Mar 2010
Decent mystery and suspense. You'll be wondering until the end. Plenty of witty dialogue as is typical of Hitchcock.
But in the end it's just a little too boring, with too much focus on sappy romance, and a somewhat anti-climactic finale. Hitchcock seems this time more interested in making nice shots of the French landscape than making a truly compelling mystery.
