Review of To Be Takei (2014) by Chantal V — 09 Oct 2014
This was so wonderful - and it will be wonderful even if you're not already in love with George Takei. Apart from the nice every day footage of him and his husband, very naturally done, this will also provide a rather poignant inside look at a few heavy issues like the horrible way Japanese people were treated in the US in the 40s/50s (basically the equivalent of Jews in Europe but at least mostly without the horrific end) and gay/equality rights.
The office site calls it a "profound trek for life, liberty and love" and that is very true and a very enjoyable, moving watch.
