To be Takei is documentary about George Takei, a man most famous for his role as Sulu in Star Trek. The documentary follows Takei and his husband through their everyday lives, bringing us insight into his routine, his history and his future projects.
We get to learn about his time spent in the internment camps after the attack on pearl harbour, the early years of his career, his life as a closeted gay man and his actual thoughts on William Shatner.
To be Takei is a fantastic look at a man and his unique experience of life in America.
