Review of To Be or Not to Be (1942) by Adam M — 01 Aug 2007
A film that, quite simply, could not be better than it is. Lubitsch can make one laugh while showing nothing more than a closed door, and script and performances are alike magnificent; certainly, Jack Benny was never better than as 'that great, great Polish actor, Josef Tura.
You've probably heard of him...?'.
