Review of To Be or Not to Be (1942) by Vidal H — 14 Jul 2008
A brilliantly funny comedy from Ernst Lubitsch, portraying the oppression of the European countries under Hitler's rule while simultaneously reveling in the freedom to make fun of the Nazis to its heart's content.
Wonderfully funny, greatly acted and marvelously written. Just a superb film.
