Review of TMNT (2007) by Ian B — 19 Nov 2011

A nice re-introduction for the Ninja Turtles and much better than the "guys in rubber suits" movies that plagued the early 90's. The look of the film, especially the turtles themselves, is fantastic, but the story is a complete waste.

I also had a hard time getting used to the guy who does Splinter's voice. It's the complete opposite of what the character should sound like. The action is pure eye candy, but if you didn't watch the turtles growing up then I doubt you'll find much to like about this movie simply because the story is so bad.

Hopefully with Shredder returning for the sequel that should really breathe new life into this series.
