Review of TMNT (2007) by Dann M — 16 Oct 2013

The Turtles return to the big screen in the animated film TMNT. The story follows a rich tycoon who hires the Foot clan to collect a group of 13 monsters from another dimension; meanwhile Leonardo returns from training in South America and attempts to reunite his Ninja Turtle brothers.

Featuring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Chris Evans, Ziyi Zhang, and Patrick Stewart, the voice cast is pretty good. The animation is also fairly solid, though some of it is a little rigid and wooden. Still, the action is done especially well and finally allows the Turtles to let loose their ninja skills in some very dynamic fight sequences.

TMNT can be a bit corny at times, but it's entertaining and fun too.
