Review of Titus (1999) by Gordon B — 08 Aug 2007
Saw this one for the first time not so long ago and I need to see it again to make sure it was truely that great a movie. Based upon Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus, it's a mix of modern and classic landscapes and sets, which at times almost makes it look futuristic.
Some scenes have a real element of horror in them, which makes it in my opinion all the better. I love getting to know Shakespeare's plays through movies, aspecially when it's been done like this.
