I'm a big fan of Shakespeare, but I just didn't enjoy this adaptation. This version is much more along the lines of "Romeo + Juliet" than "Much Ado" in the presentation, and I just didn't like how disjointed it felt- the way it kept jumping time periods and how over-the-top the gore was.
The acting was good, but it was overshadowed by the presentation. I couldn't wait for it to end.
