Review of Titus (1999) by Sabir K — 06 Jan 2008
Took a lackluster Shakespeare play, and injected it with raw sexuality, a steady flow of blood, and Taymor's signature visual style. Lange and Hopkins make the most of their parts, and the supporting cast is brimmed with familiar faces of today.
Makes the best use of historic anachronism, in a way "A Knights Tale" wishes it could have.
