Review of Titanic (1984) by Autumn M — 09 May 2018
Fantastic movie. What surprised me was when I saw "Titanic" with Barbara Stanwyck from 1953 and realized that Cameron borrowed heavily from this movie. Robert Wagner is the pretty boy (like DiCaprio) who falls in love with a girl who is Kate Winslet's look alike.
The girl's mother is played by Barbara Stanwyck. Even some of the lines are the same - although the story has been turned on its head.
