Review of Titanic (1984) by Theodore H — 11 Jun 2014
First time seeing Titanic was the 3D rerelease. The 3D shots off the side of the boat were pretty much worth the extra three dollars. It unexpectedly lived up to its hype. I was expecting sappy crap and got empathetic disaster.
The old Rose didn't really deserve an Oscar, especially when compared to Winslet and Leo, a personal favourite of mine. But it only seemed like a normal blockbuster of two and a half hours and had the best things a movie could have, as well as some beautiful commentary on humanity.
