Review of Titanic (1943) by José Carlos Á — 09 Apr 2015
Its love story may lack any innovative aspects but, helped by the outstandingly well portrayed sinking of the RMS Titanic, it is still undeniably beautiful and carries a powerful and unbeatable emotional depth, the performances of the whole cast, but especially those of Kate Winslet, Leonardo DiCaprio and Gloria Stuart, are excellent, its music is gorgeous, its production design is so believable that the audience can feel like truly being in the same tragic ship, and its special effects are outstanding.
For these reasons and more, "Titanic" is a classic epic film.
