Review of Titan A.E. (2000) by Nisha K — 15 Feb 2012
Don Bluth is very hit and miss with me; probably with the rest of the world too. As for Titan A.E., I think it is one of Bluth's more well-constructed films. It matches the 80s films in seriousness and drama (Secret of NIMH, Land Before Time) and it doesn't pander like a lot of the 90s films (Troll in Central Park, Thumbelina).
It thrills, it tells a good story, and the animation is really something to marvel at (for 2000 anyway).
