Kate Beckinsale has never been more attractive than in this feature although it says a lot about a film when that's your opening statement in a review; this isn't great, and struggles to find the balance between comedy and drama without being that funny or compelling.
But the performances are worthwile and the story pleasant enough..and then there's Beckinsale!
