My satire senses are tingling! But, I can't be sure as the protagonist who is also the writer/director comes from that same self-absorbed class of priviledged youth who actually think their problems are important due to being oh so smart and educated.
She knows the meaning of ennui!!! Oh, woe, it's tough coming back from an elite college to a loft in New York!!! Well, that's self-absorption for you. The young (myself included at that age) are experts at it.
If anything, it's their greatest skill.
