Review of Tiny Furniture (2010) by Neil M — 06 Jun 2012
My word this is an awful film. From the dreary, unlikeable characters to the stilted, wanting to be knowingly-clever dialogue that simply isn't to the banal existence of the central character there's simply nothing here to grasp the viewer.
If this is what 20-something New Yorkians aspire to then I weep for you, if this is some hipster interpretation of living, I weep for you too. Ok, so Lena Dunham did Direct, Write and Star from that viewpoint she's done an admirable job on the directing and staring, just get someone else to write next time.
