Review of Tiny Furniture (2010) by Giorgiana L — 19 Aug 2012
Well the girl has a niche, she writes what she knows. The movie is depressing, but it has heartfelt moments, and does speak true to a certain reality. Lena Dunham gives a convincing performance that's alive and real, but it's true that nothing really happens.
My real attraction to this movie lay in the fact that she directed and stared in it at such a young age and how well recieved it was. For a novice I'm impressed, and I hope she takes her gritty style into things with more plot. I think that'd be brilliant.
