Review of Tiny Furniture (2010) by Erick F — 14 Mar 2013
Surprised. She is this generation's female woody allen. There were multiple things I enjoyed about this film. I think the first one that should be mentioned is how like Woody's Manhattan, this is a time capsule film for NYC.
The hipster crowd, generation, lingo, the look and feel of everything. It really encapsulates NYC and hipsters very well. Also not afraid to make fun of it. More importantly it also touches on the post-college-depression that many in our generation suffers from.
A lot of fun conversations. And a lot of raw honest moments. I enjoyed this film a lot. Good Concept. Good execution.
