Review of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) by Travis F — 07 Jan 2013
A very long, slow-paced, detailed, and realistic look at Cold War era espionage. This is far from the technology and action sequences of a James Bond film. It's more of a mystery-spy film than a thriller or action-spy.
You have to be patient and pay attention the whole away through in order for it to pay off at the end. I really enjoyed it (although I liked and understood it better the second time around) and the all British cast led by Gary Oldman was amazing.
