The strength of this movie lies in its ability to show a thrilling story without any unnecessary action scenes, but rather through engaging and clever dialogues. This is a great adaptation of a fantastic book, and a suspenseful tale about deception, paranoia, mind games, cold-blooded spies, and espionage.
Thomas Alfredson was able to direct the movie with genuine precision. And in all of this, there is the style and elegance of British agents that no one can deny.
