I have no idea why, but it just didn't work for me. Though Gary Oldman was fantastic at times, at other times, I was spending way too much energy trying to piece together what he had just said because the pauses between his words were unbelievable.

I didn't buy that it was the best spy story ever, and I found myself guessing who the leak was from the beginning, and getting it right. Though there were some fantastic things about the film, as a whole didn't work for me for some reason.

Maybe I'll have to watch it again, but I couldn't get into it. Again, personal preference, not a judgement of the film.
