Never read the novel, never seen the TV series, I don't even really like traditional spy stories but this really is brilliant. The cast is ridiculously good, there's not a strong British actor from the past 30 years hardly who doesn't appear on screen at some point, clearly they all wanted to work with Alfredson.
I particularly liked Kathy Burke's cameo but you could pretty much pick any of them. Intelligent, slow moving gritty cinema. Fantastic.
