This indie spy drama is one of the best in many years of it's genre. Headed by a brilliant all star cast including Gary Oldman (Dark Knight Trilogy), Tom Hardy ("Bronson"), Benedict Cumberbatch ("The Fifth Estate"), this is an utterly compelling espionage period film.
Director Tomas Alfredson has done a spectacular job at weaving the multiple stories together, allowing each one to take it's course. Set mainly in Cold War England, this shows the inner workings of a masterful yet deceitful spy network that operates all around the world.
It makes the viewer think, and even after many viewings, you still find new details that you didn't notice before. "Tinker" is a true gem of English drama, and if you can keep up with it's complexity and subtle skill, you will not be disappointed.
