Perhaps the dryest film of all time, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is one of the rare films that really makes you pay attention and weigh the importance of each line to grasp all the nuances. It may take multiple viewings to understand everything that is going on but rest assured you will be rewarded for your diligence.
The acting is some of the best that I have ever seen and is worth watching for that reason alone. Watch closely as you take it in, it's really worth the effort.
