Review of Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure (2009) by Trent G — 27 Jan 2010
My daughter received this for Christmas, so the whole family sat down to enjoy the magic of Disney. I liked this sequel even better than the first Tinkerbell movie. While the first film took a lot of time setting up the fairy world and how it all comes together, this was more of an adventure.
I love that Tinkerbell is such a creative and determined female character. Little boys would probably like this movie too, whereas I didn't think they'd enjoy the first one. There's more time spent with the male fairy character, and the whole "treasure hunt" scenario is more fun for boys than watching fairies paint rainbows and water flowers.
Well done, Disney, for keeping one of fairytale history's best loved, spunky pixie alive.
