Review of Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue (2010) by Tim O — 22 Jan 2011
What is there to say about the Tinker Bell movies. Friendship, determination, loyalty these are all words that come to my mind. And this movie highlights the best in this series. Sure, we still no nothing about the characters.
Or the setting. Or the time period. Or how these movies connect to one another. Well, to be fair to the movie, they do give us a little glimpse into the personalities of Tink's closest friends and after you see them you will understand why they don't highlight them more.
They all work off stereotypical personalities, which I guess makes sense. Oh, and once again Jesse McCartney gets a couple of lines while the others are major characters. Which means it will be vice-a-versa in the next movie.
Overall, enjoyable film, worth a watch for anyone, child and child-like alike. Hey, I went an entire review of a Tinkerbell movie without screaming about continuity. I'm getting better.
