The animation is really pretty, and some of the creative aspects of the fairie world are really inspired, but the overall message is a bit dour: "Don't try and be something else, just be what you are.
" I thought kid's movies were supposed to instill the whole you-can-be-anything-you-want-if-you-put-your-mind-to-it?
