Review of Tinker Bell (2008) by Badri S — 11 Nov 2008
A suspicion I had about movie writers and drug abuse was confirmed a reality the day I watched Kung Fun Panda. Donâ??t get me wrong, I adore Disney movies, I grew up watching them. But you must be on Mushrooms or something to come up with a talking Panda learning to become a Kung Fu master. Right?
But taking myth and folklore to the next level was and still is my favorite thing about Disney. Even now as an adult I have Aladdin, The lion king and many more classics to watch from time to time when I am high.
Having a four years old cousin I tend to look for new Disney movies to watch with her all the time. Recently, I stumbled on Tinkerbelle. The infamous â??Fairyâ?? from Peter Pan now has her own movie on a series titled â??Disney Fairiesâ?? and I will not make a joke about that. But I will say that now I am sure Absinth has much to do with this one besides magic shrooms.
That said, the movie was sweet, very funny and it flared up my old crush for Tink and her sexy short green skirt as she worked her way in never land to find her true â??Talentâ??
We get to see Wendy again and her room, very nostalgic for Disney fans.
Movie is out on Disney Bluray, a real treat for young ones and drug dealers.
