I'm sure Ron Shelton and Kevin Costner came up with the idea for this film during their weekly circle jerk while watching movies about athletes. More crappy acting and writing from two of the least creative people in the world.
I will give them credit for casting Don Johnson to make Kevin Costner almost look like an actor by comparison. Smart move.
