Non-painter, inventor Tim Jenison spends 1800+ days on an experiment to test a theory that Dutch Old Master Vermeer used to optics to create his realistic works. The lengths to which he goes and the results of his work are equally marvelous.
A thought-provoking and incredible film from Teller, the (usually) silent half of Penn & Teller. Penn Jillette narrates the film and appears several times, having known Jenison for years.
