Review of TiMER (2009) by ?Kissa-Hime? — 26 Nov 2010
A wonderful high-concept comedy. This film operates on the same level as "The Invention Of Lying" (2009) with Ricky Gervais. You have to accept the idea of a bio-tech implant that "predicts" when your true love will appear in your life. Meant to take all of the guesswork out of romance. The 'catch' is that your true love must also be wearing an implant.
I won't explain where the story goes. I will say that, if you're looking for an off-beat comedy that does not follow the usual formulas, this would be a good answer.
