Review of Timeline (2006) by Matthew F. J — 26 Feb 2014
Well let's say it as it is...timeline is a pretty bad film. The reconstitution of middle age France is quite poorly conceived, extras and background action lacking any real depth or even energy. everyone seem very slow to react and seems to wait for the first AD to shout action background. The main cast isn't better, most actors being very dull and saying their lines with very little convictions. Paul Walker is so out of place in this film, any second I expected him to tell his girlfriend...hey babe how about we go for a ride...
The storyline could have been interesting but here it's cliché and very predictable. Richard Donner is a good director but obviously the epic tales aren't his niche.
