Review of Timecop (1994) by Indu R — 05 May 2011
Yeah, I;m a sucker for a fun time travel flick, and Timecop satisfied my need for a silly, loud action flick with plenty of plot holes and JCVD. The time travel here is fun, and Van Damme isn't as cheesy an actor as I would have thought (have to admit, this is the first of his films I've seen).
Ron Silver kind of sucks as a generic villian, but I was glad to see Bruce McGill actually succeed in a lightly comedic role. It's silly and dumb, but Timecop is fun. Also, a great end credits song that doesn't fit with the tone of the picture but makes sense given the subject of time travel!
