I watched this right after the anatomy block exam party Friday night. Another STONE CLASSIC from François Ozon. How he manages to succeed in so many styles is simply amazing. The protagonist's journey from self-absorbed jerk to generous spirit (thanks to all-purpose Untreatable Movie Cancer) sounds clichéd but is executed inventively because of its extreme realism regarding homosexuality, relations between adult siblings, and the role of elderly relatives in the lives of adult children.
