The movie approaches a common theme in a different yet realistic way. The dying man doesn't exactly tell about his illness to everybody he cares for. He just looks back to his childhood and his past, looks at old photos, takes pictures to have a lasting memory of people he loves, etc.
just like any other person would do if he or she is dying.
