There are few movies that manage to present characters with quite a lot of complications (some pretty messed up people) in such arrogant light that they would be completely unsympathetic to the audience.

I saw the interview with Francois Ozon and he dared say he came up with the idea after a regular check-up with his doctor. Well if some find this original, I find it insufficient to make a good movie.
