Review of Time Lapse (2014) by B T — 17 Aug 2017
Interesting premise, but the film certainly doesn't do anything unexpected with it. Instead of taking risks, it opts for the safe route and focuses on the psychological thriller aspect and the characters involved, which is rather unfortunate considering just how very uninteresting they are -- the scriptwriter sure doesn't shy away from stereotypical portrayals.
Even more unfortunate is the acting which, at best, is TV standard. So why 3 stars? Well, it wasn't terrible and the initial idea is interesting, but what really bumped it up to a fraction above average are those last 30-45 mins of the movie.
